This is an embossed, full grain cowhide produced by ECCO, designed for makers who want the consistency and ease of a modern finished leather while still retaining some natural depth and working character.
The leather features a uniform pebble grain emboss with a soft matte Sage Green finish. The grain pattern remains highly consistent across the hide, making it suitable for projects where clean panel matching and repeatability are important. The pale muted green gives the leather a soft, contemporary appearance with a calm and understated character.
Built on a chrome-tanned base, the leather combines softness and flexibility with good working characteristics. The temper is notably soft with a comfortable handfeel, making it well suited for projects where flexibility and drape are desirable.
The surface uses a relatively thin protective finish layer providing resistance against handling marks and daily wear while retaining visible grain character. At 1.5–1.7 mm thickness, the leather is suitable for bags, pouches, wallets, organisers, accessories and projects where a softer pebbled leather is preferred.
Edge finishing performance is good for a softer chrome leather. The leather responds to burnishing compounds such as Tokonole, Toko Pro and similar burnishing gums, though burnishability is moderate rather than exceptional.

As part of our updated cutting process, we now prioritise cleaner rectangular panel sizing for easier usability and more consistent dimensions. One side effect of this approach is the generation of more usable leather remnants and offcuts.

These bundles may contain mixed bend, shoulder, and belly pieces in varying sizes (approx. 0.25 sqft to 1.5 sqft) and are ideal for:
