About the Design
This buckle uses a centre bar configuration, one of the most widely used buckle designs in leathercraft. A practical advantage of centre bar buckles is that they are generally keeper-free — the folded strap construction naturally helps retain and control the loose strap end, eliminating the need for a separate keeper loop.
