Antique Green Leather Belt Strap (3.0–3.2mm)
Antique Green Leather Belt Strap (3.0–3.2mm)
Couldn't load pickup availability
A soft, antique green full-grain strap with a muted, aged-look semi-aniline finish — a tone that sits between forest green and olive, with an understated, vintage character that works particularly well on belts and heritage-style leather goods. At 3.0–3.2mm, it has good substance without being unwieldy, and the pasted back flesh side gives it a clean interior.
🇮🇹 Extra-Stock Consignment Leather
This belt blank comes from an extra-stock consignment sourced through India-based manufacturers who work predominantly with Italian-origin tanneries. These are surplus hides — not seconds or rejects — cleared at significantly below-standard pricing. Quantities are limited and may not be restocked.
Tanning & Finish
Chrome tan. The semi-aniline finish gives the leather a consistent colour with a degree of natural surface character retained. The thin protective layer offers slightly better resistance to moisture and scuffs compared to a pure aniline finish.
Edge Burnishing Performance
Rated Possible (Difficult). Chrome-tanned leather does not burnish as readily as veg tan. Edge burnishing with gums (Tokonole, Toko Pro, or similar) is possible but requires more effort and may yield less consistent results.
Aging & Patina
Chrome-tanned leather does not develop a traditional patina in the way veg tan does. The colour and surface character remain largely stable over time. The semi-aniline finish will soften slightly with use and conditioning, but significant tonal deepening should not be expected.

⚠️ Natural Marks & Variation
As full-grain leather, natural marks including healed scars, grain variation, and minor surface irregularities may be present. These are inherent to authentic full-grain hides and are not defects. Being extra-stock material, slight variation between pieces is to be expected and is part of the character of this leather.
