A firm, brown full-grain strap at a substantial 3.7–3.9mm — among the heavier weights in the range, giving it excellent rigidity and longevity for demanding belt and strap applications. The pasted back flesh side gives it a clean interior, and edge burnishing performance is excellent — edges compact cleanly and smoothly with water, gum, wax, or friction.

Tanning & Finish
Veg tan / veg retan. The finish is applied to the grain and appears to have minimal surface coating — preserving natural texture, supporting burnish response, and allowing a patina to develop with use.
Edge Burnishing Performance
Rated Very Good. The firm temper and dense fibre structure allow edges to compact cleanly using water, gum, wax, or friction-based methods.
