These are the small staple pins that go in an ordinary pocket or desk stapler, the everyday size almost every small stapler in India uses. Made in India by KANGARO, size No.10.
The "1M" on the box just means 1,000 pins inside (M is the old shorthand for a thousand). They are drawn from fine steel wire, zinc coated, with sharp points and glued into strips so they load in one piece and feed without jamming. A No.10 staple holds roughly 10 to 20 sheets of normal paper.
What You Get
One sealed box containing 1,000 staple pins, supplied in strips.
The Coating, and Why It Matters
These pins are zinc coated (galvanised). It is KANGARO's standard finish across their staple range, and the reason the pins are silver rather than dull grey. The steel wire is drawn to gauge first, then given a thin zinc plating before the staples are formed.
On a No.10 pin the coating matters more than you would think, because the wire is so fine that there is very little steel to lose to rust.
🛡️ Zinc corrodes before the steel does
It is a sacrificial layer. Humidity attacks the zinc and leaves the steel underneath intact, which is what keeps a half-used box usable through a monsoon.
📄 No rust bleed into your paperwork
An uncoated staple left in a document eventually prints a brown stain around itself. Zinc coating is what stops that on files and records you keep for years.
⚙️ Lower friction in the magazine
The plating is slick, so the strip slides forward under the pusher spring instead of dragging. Dragging is the commonest cause of a small stapler jamming.
🔗 Adhesive-bonded strips
The pins are glued side to side into rigid strips. Strong enough to hold the strip straight in the magazine, and weak enough to shear cleanly as each staple fires.
Will These Fit My Stapler?
Almost certainly yes, if it is a small stapler, meaning the pocket-sized or desk kind that fits in one hand. No.10 is the standard small size across every brand, so these fit KANGARO mini staplers and small staplers from other makers alike.
Quick check: look at the empty box your last pins came in. If it says No.10, these are the same. If it says 24/6 or 26/6, that is the slightly bigger full-size office stapler, which takes a different pin.
Got a big heavy duty stapler? These are far too small for it. For those you need KANGARO 23/8H heavy duty staple pins instead.

Before you order: the number on the box matters more than the brand. Match No.10 to No.10 and it will work. Store the box closed and dry, because zinc plating resists humidity but does not enjoy standing water. Staple pins are sharp, so keep them out of reach of children.
