Panel Size & Grade

Our Hunter Emberfell leather panels are cut from full grain cowhide and vegetable tanned for a natural finish that grows richer over time. The leather will age with use, developing a warm patina that reflects the life of the product. Cow hunter is especially dense, rugged, and durable, making it well-suited for items that demand strength and longevity. The name Emberfell denotes the glowing depth of this particular aniline finish, emphasizing both its natural warmth and enduring character.

Remnants:

When full hides are cut into panels, the natural irregularities of the hide leave behind smaller, offcut pieces. These are grouped into mixed packs which we call 'remnants'. While not on par with our premium panels, they remain suitable for smaller projects such as card wallets, watch straps, or other accessories. Our remnant packs offer makers who need functional leather for prototyping, small goods, or practice a chance to experiment and create with Hunter Emberfell leather at the lowest possible cost.

Note: Some marks / imperfections will be present. Please read our leather grading guide to understand how we grade our leathers.

Note 2: This Emberfell is a slight variation of the original Emberfell. The original Emberfell was buffed, while this one hasn't been buffed.
