Saddle Tan Leather Belt Strap (3.3–3.4mm)
Saddle Tan Leather Belt Strap (3.3–3.4mm)
Couldn't load pickup availability
This is a firm, full-grain Saddle Tan strap with a warm natural tone and a glazed aniline finish that gives the surface a slight sheen. At 3.3–3.4mm, it has good substance for belt and strap work while remaining versatile across bag straps, leashes, and other strap applications. The pasted back flesh side gives it a clean interior, and edge burnishing performance is excellent — edges compact cleanly and smoothly with water, gum, wax, or friction.
🇮🇹 Extra-Stock Consignment Leather
This belt blank comes from an extra-stock consignment sourced through India-based manufacturers who work predominantly with Italian-origin tanneries. These are surplus hides — not seconds or rejects — cleared at significantly below-standard pricing. Quantities are limited and may not be restocked.
Tanning & Finish
This leather is veg tanned and veg retanned. The glazed aniline finish is applied directly to the grain with no topcoat — preserving the natural surface texture, adding a slight sheen, maximising burnish response, and ensuring a patina that develops authentically with use.
Edge Burnishing Performance
Edge burnishing performance is rated Very Good. The firm temper and dense fibre structure allow edges to compact cleanly using water, gum, wax, or friction-based methods.
Aging & Patina
With use and exposure, the leather will develop a natural patina — deepening in tone and character over time, as is typical of aniline-finished veg tan leather.

⚠️ Natural Marks & Variation
As full-grain leather, natural marks including healed scars, grain variation, and minor surface irregularities may be present. These are inherent to authentic full-grain hides and are not defects. Being extra-stock material, slight variation between pieces is to be expected and is part of the character of this leather.
